How To: Trim Bangs

Tuesday Nov 18, 2008 – By Fuchsia

Bangs emphasize your eyes and can help camouflage an irregular hairline or high forehead. Bangs usually need trimming every four weeks. Most salons will offer to cut your bangs between cuts. But, if you don’t have the time to go and decide to do it yourself always trim your bangs dry. If you do it wet they will just shrink up when your hair dries.

(NOTE: Although, this is an “how-to” we would recommend if you have the funds to go get your bangs trimmed you should :) )

1. Twist your bangs together in one piece and cut the ends in a slight zigzag.
2. Next, release the hair and cut the longer pieces until they are even with the shorter ones.
