Denise and Janice Tunnell, originally from Baltimore, MD, are twin sisters and celebrity Makeup Artists. Their careers have covered many facets of the film and entertainment industries. Some of their credits include Stomp the Yard, Daddy’s Little Girls, Hustle & Flow, Step Up 1 & 2, The Notebook, Ladder 49, and many more. Their celebrity clientele have included Vivica A. Fox, Boris Kodjoe, Idris Elba, Megan Good, Sharon Leal, Tasha Smith, Tyler Perry, Carmelo Anthony, Yolanda Adams, Maurette Brown Clark, Elise Neal, Marvin Winans and Brandy, among others. Combined, they have over 15 years experience in accounting and business and over 11 years experience in the beauty industry. Together, they co-own Illusions Cosmetics.

A: Yes, it is possible that your makeup is breaking you out. Also, it could possibly be your makeup brushes. Make sure that you are cleaning your makeup brushes often (at least every 2 weeks). We strongly suggest once a week. You can use a mild anti-bacterial hand soap or shampoo. Keep them soft by using a conditioner. If you continue to break out, please see a dermatologist and take your makeup with you.
